May 23, 1933 - July 18, 2020
Bobby Klien Harbour, 87, went home to be with the Lord early morning on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. We are grieving our loss together as a family and celebrating his loving spirit, compassionate ways, and his sense of humor. Our dad had a welcoming personality and a great attitude towards anyone. Everyone became family when they walked into the house. As one friend said, “To know him was to love him.” Our father was born to be called father, it was his calling and he loved every minute of it. His children consider themselves most humbly blessed to have had a father like him. We rejoice because we know dad is with the Lord and we all know he is reunited with the love of his life, our sweet mother. He retired from Georgia Pacific after a long career in the paper industry. He loved to travel and made it to 48 states and 8 different countries. He was always planning his next adventure before the last one ended. He was an avid gardener and loved to watch his garden grow. He also loved to go camping and fishing as well. He was a HUGE sports fan. His favorite team was the Alabama Crimson Tide. He loved to sit and watch his birds. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. We will always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace, that he always gave us. He will greatly be missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Mary. He is survived by his four children, Pat (Jimmy) Yates, Debbie (Charlie) Davis, Ricky (Abbie) Harbour, and Jody (Judy) Harbour; 11 Grandchildren, Karen, Michael, Tim and Daniel, Robbie and Marybeth, Klien, Rebekah and Dakota, Lee and Chandler; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. He also deeply loved his nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Because of the on-going COVID pandemic, there will only be a church service that is scheduled for Monday, July 20,2020 at 2:00 at D’Lo UMC in D’Lo Mississippi. This service is for family members only. All family members are required to wear a mask while inside the church and are asked to please keep social distancing in mind while inside the church. We appreciate our many friends who would love to be at the service. We will miss your love and support as we honor our dad. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Immediately following the church service there will be a private graveside service for only the children and their spouses and the grandchildren, due to public gathering restrictions in Rankin County. All other family and friends may visit the graveside after the closing of the private ceremony. The graveside service will take place at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the D’Lo UMC, P.O. Box 190 D’Lo MS 39062.
