Dwayne Tyler Lang

Dwayne “Tyler” Lang passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, in Jackson, MS. Tyler was born on April 23, 1992, to Dwayne Delos Lang and Elizabeth Ann Humphrey Goldman in Jackson, MS. Tyler had a huge heart, and he was loved by so many family members and friends alike. He loved his children Khloe and Kaiden dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.

Tyler enjoyed fishing, working on his mustang that he loved and his pick-up truck. He was very gifted and mechanically inclined. He developed a love for driving “big trucks” as a little boy, just like his Papaw Ronnie. He grew up and enjoyed a career in truck driving working for the last 7 years for Mike Williams Trucking who has been more like family than an employer.

Tyler is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, “Papaw Ronnie” Humphrey; whom he dearly loved, and paternal grandparents, Travis Lang (Lois) and “Mamaw Billie” Jean Ertle (James). He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Marissa Nichole Givens Lang of Sumrall; children, Kaiden Lang and Khloe Rutledge (Kelsey); mother, Libby Goldman (Nathan) of Florence; father, Dwayne Lang (Rachel) of Hattiesburg; maternal grandmother, Margaret Allen (Tony) of Florence; sister, Jessica Radanof (Ryan) and their son, Liam of Flowood; step brothers, Dalton Goldman (Ashley) and their daughter, Hadley of Collins, and Tyler Goldman of Florence; brother-in-law, Robert Wainis (Ashley) of Rochester, MN; and mother-in-law, Deborah Wainis of Sumrall.

The family will receive friends and extended family for visitation from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. There will be a graveside service at 11:30 at Clear Branch Cemetery in Florence.
