Willie Don Williamson, 92, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 5:00-7:00p.m., and again on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 9:30a.m. until the hour of service at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church of Byram, MS. Don was born in Oakvale, MS on September 12, 1933, to Robert Lee Williamson and Clydie Daniels Williamson. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Byram. He was a Navy veteran and served in Law Enforcement with the Jackson Police Department and State of MS Capitol Police. Don was preceded in death by his wife, Eva, and his brothers, Dan and Jim and one sister, Bobby. He is survived by sons, Mark (Rebecca) Williamson and Keith Williamson, both of Byram, and Jeff (Deborah) Williamson of Jackson; daughter, Suzie (Jarrett) Sullivan of Byram; brother, Jerry (Norma) Williamson; and six grandchildren: Tristan, Taylor (Chancee), and Trace Anderson and Trip (Shaylie), John Wesley, and Ellie Williamson; and two great grandchildren: Jack Williamson and Charlee Anderson.
