William Allen Byrd

William Allen "Bo" Byrd, 70, died Friday December 7, 2007 at his residence of a heart attack. Visitation will be 1-2pm today before the 2pm service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be at Clear Branch Cemetery.\ The son of Mary Byrd and the late Jim Byrd, "Bo" was born on February 2, 1937. He was a devout Christian, a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was devoted to his family, his pastor, church family and his many friends. He loved music, especially "Blue Grass Gospel. \ Survivors other than his mother include brother, Jerry Byrd of Ridgeland. Sister, Jeannette Harper of Florence and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund, 2194 White Road\ Florence, MS 39073. \ \
