William “Bill” Francis White (64) - a devoted husband, father, and grandfather - went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 20, 2023 in Jackson, MS after a fierce battle with cancer.
Bill was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on May 12, 1958 to his loving parents, William and Barbara White. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the Army and proudly served his country for many years - that is where he met the love of his life, Helen. Soon, they married and had 2 wonderful sons, Jason and Jake. Bill had 2 grandchildren, who he adored- Conner and Aubrey.
After retiring from the military, he began his career in medical equipment sales with Instrumentation Laboratory (IL). He was with IL for 36 years where he was the top salesman of the year several times. Bill retired from Instrumentation Laboratory in March 2022. Bill and his wife Helen have been residents of the Byram/Terry area for over 25 years.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William and Barbara White of New Jersey. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Helen of Terry; his sons: Jason (Lauren) of Brandon and Jake of Clinton; his grandchildren: Conner and Aubrey of Brandon; and his sister, Barbara (Bill) Knorr of New Jersey.
He will be truly missed by all that knew him. If you ever met him, you didn't forget him. He had an uncanny sense of humor - you couldn't be in the room for more than 30 minutes without laughing at least once. He had a presence about him. He wasn't the loudest person in the room, but when he spoke, everyone listened. He was taken too soon, but he truly LIVED while he was here. He loved his family, traveling, & Disney. His legacy will live on in those who knew him.
Due to a great portion of family living out of town, the family will celebrate Bill’s life in the Spring.
