William Craig Harper, Jr., lovingly known as "Will," was born on September 8, 1973, in Hazlehurst, Mississippi to William Craig Harper, Sr and Ladonna Ann Williamson Harper. He passed away on September 30, 2024.
Will leaves behind a legacy that reflects his artistic spirit and deep connections with family and friends. He was a talented tattooist whose artistry extended beyond the skin to various forms of creative expression. His love for craftsmanship was evident in his carpentry work, where he found joy in transforming materials into beautiful, tangible pieces. A man of many talents, he also possessed a passion for writing poetry, culminating in the publication of his own book. This literary accomplishment stands as a testament to his creativity and thoughtfulness.
He is survived by his devoted father, William Harper, Sr.; a sister, Abby Layton; his beloved children: Zachary Harper, Brennen Harper, Matthew Harper, Benjamin Harper, and Evelyn "Evie" Harper; as well as his cherished grandchild, Wrenley Dawn.
Will is preceded in death by his mother, Ladonna Ann Minchew.
As we remember William Craig Harper, Jr., we celebrate a life rich in creativity, family, and the deep connections he formed with all who were fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will continue to inspire those who hold him dear.
A special thank you to Traditions Hospice and the loving care that his nurses, Ashlee and Kaitlyn provided to him.
