William Earl Greenlee, Jr., affectionately known as "Billy," passed away on July 21, 2025, in Terry, Mississippi. Born on January 16, 1967, to William Earl Greenlee, Sr and Margie Creel Greenlee in Greenville, Mississippi.
Billy dedicated his career to sales, where he was well-respected for his work ethic and dedication. His ability to connect with others extended beyond his professional life, as he was renowned for being a captivating storyteller. He had a unique talent for engaging listeners with his words.
In his personal life, Billy was a devoted husband to Michelle Lea Greenlee for an incredible 34 years and were high school sweethearts for 6 years before they got married. Together, they nurtured a loving family. He took immense pride in being a father and cherished the time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.
Billy found joy in cutting grass and he took great pride in his yard. He loved to cook for his family and friends. He was an avid bird watcher, enjoying the sight and sounds of the birds in his yard. He loved a good movie and found it a great way to unwind occasionally.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Clint Greenlee, nephew, Dane Greenlee, and an aunt, Betty McLellan.
Surviving Billy is his loving wife, Michelle; his parents, William and Margie Greenlee; two sons, Chris Greenlee (Catarina) of Richland and Nick Greenlee (Mallory) of Crystal Springs; his precious grandchildren, Oliver, Rhett, Lydia, Adelyn, and the expected baby, Aldey; and a brother, Jeff Greenlee (Carmen) of Vaiden, along with his two nephews, Alex and Mason Greenlee. He also leaves behind four treasured fur babies who brought him unconditional love and companionship.
The family will receive those who wish to pay their respects at a Visitation on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram.
