Weldon Hays Harrison

Weldon Hays Harrison passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, in Jackson, MS. He was 72 years old. The family will receive friends and extended family for visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, and again on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Morton Memorial Cemetery.

Weldon was born on October 31, 1952, to Jack E. Harrison and Mary Alice McLemore Harrison in Brandon, MS, but has lived in Pearl his whole life. He loved to fish and enjoyed trips to the casinos.

Weldon is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Eddie Harrison, Polly Brewer, Bo Harrison, J. C. Harrison, Douglas Harrison, Jimmy Harrison, Margaret Marchman, and Jack Harrison, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Frances Coley of Morton; grandson, Seth Prestage of Morton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
