Wallace "Wally" Eugene Fields passed away at home on April 21, 2024. He was 88 years old. He was born in Pinola, MS to William Archie Fields Sr. and Alma Lee Furlow. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Learned, MS.
Wally proudly served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and was involved in many enterprises over the years with the vast majority of his printing career spent as owner of Magnolia Label Company.
Wally was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Jim Risher; his wife of 63 years, Gloria Fields; his second wife, Jane Mason Fields; his son in law, Richard Seal; and many other family members.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Priddy (Garland), Cindy Risher Seal, and Edie Johnson; grandchildren, Misti Dossett, Tiffany Turnage (Tyler), Nikki Dossett, Brandi Mosley (Michael), and Anna Risher Kimmons (Christopher); and 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to: The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation National Headquarters, 6520 N. Andrews Ave., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309-2132.
Services for Mr. Wally Fields will be April 25, 2024, with a visitation from 9am - 11am and the funeral service to begin at 11am. His interment will be at the Raymond Cemetery in Raymond, MS.
