Mrs. Virginia Lou Tidmore

Virginia Lou Tidmore, 72, passed away Sunday December 11, 2016 at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Byram. There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life from 10-11am on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram with a Suite service at 11am. Mrs. Tidmore was a 1963 graduate of Forest Hill High School, where she was a member of the Beta Club, cheerleader and editor of the school annual. She then graduated from Hinds Jr. College where she was a Hinds High Stepper and received her BS degree from University of Southern Mississippi. She was a longtime resident of Byram and former member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Mrs. Tidmore was a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her father Willie Clyde Orr. Survivors include her mother Flake Johnson of Byram; her husband of 48 years and the love of her life, Jerry Tidmore of Byram; son, Ty Tidmore and his wife Elizabeth of Jennings, LA; daughter, April Wade of Byram; two grandsons, Greyson and Zachery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN or the Alzheimers Association.
