Virgil "Billy" Malley Jr.

Virgil William “Billy” Malley Jr. passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, February 25, 2023, in McComb, Mississippi. He was 80 years old.  The family will have friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. followed by the burial in the Garden of Memories.

Billy was born to Rev. Virgil William Malley Sr. and Maude Selma Miller Malley on January 24, 1943, in Columbia, Mississippi. He enjoyed woodworking, golf, and collecting knives and guns. He loved his family and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his siblings, Marie Moore, James Malley, Betty Dear, and Bobby Malley.  He is survived by his daughters; Stephanie Gray (Michael) of Madison and Laura Turner (Craig) of Liberty Hill, TX; sister, Minnie Garrett of Richland, and his grandchildren; Hailey Gray, Connor Gray, Kelcie Turner, Blake Turner, and Kaylie Turner.
