Travis Short

Travis D. Short, 72, died at his home in Clinton, MS July 16, 2008. Visitation will be Friday, July 18, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00am Saturday, July 19, 2008 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ Mr. Short was an electrician for 31 years at Klingler Electric and member of IBEW local #480. He was a 32 degree Mason at Capitol Lodge and Deacon at Old Vicksburg Road Baptist Church.\ \ He is survived by his wife, Mary Short, 5 children, Janice Scalf, Preston Short, Teresa Carroll, Allen Short and Kenneth Short, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way and three sisters.\ \ Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS 39212.
