Tommy Tucker

Mr. Thomas Allen Tucker (Tommy), 61, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012 at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with interment in the Garden of Memories. Visitation will be 1:00 - 3:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.\ \ Mr. Tucker, an avid fisherman, loved spending time with his family and had a special love for his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, John Silas Tucker; and by his sister, Mary Jean Miller. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Tucker of Florence; mother, Maggie Tucker of Edwards; son, Richard Tucker (Stephanie) of Madison; brothers, Ricky and Wayne Tucker; sister, Barbara Anderson; and Goddaughter, Deborah Harris. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Blake (Sheryl), Jackson, and Sydney Claire Tucker; and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.\ \ The family has requested that memorials be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation of America. \ \
