Tommie Polk

Thomas (Tommie) Polk, 69 died Saturday at Central MS Medical Center.\ \ Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8:00 P.M. Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home, Florence. Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Tuesday from the funeral home chapel with burial in the adjoining Garden of Memories Cemetery.\ \ A native of Oklahoma, Mr. Polk had lived in the Pearl area for the past 30 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and had retired from Yellow Freight after 34 years. He is preceded in death by his wife Brenda Gail Polk.\ \ He is survived by his son Jamie (Kandis) Powell of Richland; his daughter Ashley Jennings of Brandon; and five grandchildren Preston, Luke, and Brooklyn Powell, Ryan Jennings, and Hunter Fortenberry.\
