Terence Joseph Martin

Martin, Terence Joseph, age 74, passed away peacefully in the loving care of friends and family at his new home in Florence, Mississippi on April 17, 2024.  He was born October 28, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio; the son of the late Joseph and Velma (Brandehoff) Martin.  Terry was a native of Dayton, Ohio but lived most of his life in Rocky River, Ohio before recently retiring to Florence, Mississippi.  

He graduated from the University of Dayton earning his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and truly loved his Dayton Flyers.  Terry’s professional career spanned decades as a sales manager and afforded him the opportunity to travel the world.  

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Frederick Martin, his mother, Velma Pauline (Brandehoff) Martin, his sister, Annette Robbins, and Candy’s daughter Kim (Jamie) Kuhlman.   Terry is survived by his loving wife and companion, Candace Martin.  Together they enjoyed 41 years of love, companionship, and travel.  Terry is also survived by his brother Kevin (Lisa) Martin; sons, Chris (Joyce) Hayes and Matt (Kristen) Martin; his daughter Meredith (Tony) Stoeckmann and Candy’s daughter Chris (Tom) Desper and 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  

A mass of Christian burial will be in Rocky River, Ohio at St Christopher Catholic Church on Saturday, April 27^th, 2024, at noon.  Committal will be in Jackson, Mississippi at a later date.
