Suzanne Elaine Polander

Suzanne Elaine Polander passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 64 years old. The family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, July 29th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Suzanne was born July 19, 1957 in Waterloo, IA to the late Kenneth and Ellen Talley. She has lived in the Brandon area for the last 32 years, moving from Shreveport, LA. She worked as an accountant with the Mississippi D.E.Q. Suzanne loved her family dearly, especially her children and grandchildren and adored her dogs. She was a bit feisty and was loved by all she met, and she made friends anywhere she went. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Lynne Talley. She is survived by her children, Brandon Polander (Doann Nguyen) of Bartlesville, OK and Britni Shields (Richard) of Richland; grandchildren, Braxton, Shelby, Bennett, Taylor, and Silas Shields; and sisters, Cheryl Thornhill (Gary Wayne) of Choudrant, LA and Gail Talley of Ennis, TX.
