Sue Kessler

Bertha Sue Kessler passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022, at her home in Richland. She was 73 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, October 19^th from 12:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. She will be laid to rest at Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland.

 Mrs. Kessler was born January 20, 1949, in Taylorsville, MS to the late AJ and Irene Ainsworth. She worked in the banking industry as a collection agent. Whether it was crocheting; she made a blanket for each child and grandchild; working in her flower beds or painting, Sue was very artistic in every way. She was a wonderful wife of 24 years, a wonderful and caring mother and stepmother, and the best sister ever. She absolutely loved and adored her grandchildren and great grandchild.

Along with parents, Sue is also preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Ann Kuhlman. She is survived by her husband, John Kessler of Richland; daughters, Chandra (Jason) Lewis of Cummings, GA and Christy (Tom) Desper of Learned, MS; son, David Wright of Hollywood, CA; sister, Kay (Joe) Fraiser of Brandon, MS and Jane Kaufman of Florence, MS; brothers, Joe (Shirley) Ainsworth of Brandon, MS and Johnny Ainsworth of Florence, MS; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
