Stephen Thomas Perkins

Stephen Thomas Perkins, 43, passed away on Saturday, July 02, 2022 in Jackson, MS.

A long-time resident of Jackson, Mississippi, Stephen was born in Clovis, New Mexico on April 13, 1979. He loved his career as a tree surgeon and arborist and was the only Certified Climbing Arborist in Mississippi. He also enjoyed learning to tie new knots and ropes.

Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Joseph “Joe” Howard Perkins. He is survived by his mother, Doris Perkins of Mendenhall; brothers, Tim Perkins of Jackson, Matt Perkins of Jackson, and Mark Perkins of Flowood; sister, Laura Perkins of Jackson; two children, Briana and Jonathan Shores; and one grandchild, Easton.
