Sandra Elaine Johnson

Sandra Elaine Johnson passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, August 21, 2022, at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood.  She was 84 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 24th followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. She will be laid to rest at Garden of Memories.

Sandra was born May 25, 1938 in Minnesota to the late Alvah and Verbal Rand. She lived in the Star area for the last 30 years.   Sandra was a homemaker. She loved to crochet, and enjoyed working in her flowers, when she was able. 

Along with heh her parents, Sandra was also preceded in death by her husband Earl Lewis Johnson. 

She is survived by her daughters, Ivy (Thomas) Means of Grand Junction, CO and Judy Lucerne, of Star, MS; son, Alvah Johnson of Star, MS;  grandchildren, James, Chaz, Michael, and Kelsey;  great grandchildren, Avery, Maddison, Jonathon, Billy, and Saria; great great-grandchild; and two sisters, Shirley Smith and Glory Jean Rand.
