Mr. Russell "Gordon" Lawrence

Russell Gordon Lawrence, 49, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at his residence in Clinton. A private memorial service will be held at a later time. Gordon was born January 4, 1971, in Jackson to Timothy Lawrence, Sr. and Diane Morrison. He grew up and attended school in Florence, lived in Jackson and Brandon for most of his life and made his home in Clinton for the past year. He was a carpenter by trade. His hobbies included riding motorcycles, painting cars and annoying his children. Those preceding him in death are his parents. Survivors include his daughter, Lexie Lawrence of Florence; son, Blake (Amber) Murphy of Georgia; grandchildren, Ellie, Easton, Everly, Preston; brother, Timothy “Scooter” Lawrence, Jr. of Clinton; nephews, Daxton and Maddox; and niece, Gracie Lawrence.
