Ruby Olene Stevenson

On Tuesday, January 17, Ruby "Honey" Byrd Stevenson passed away. Mrs. Stevenson was one of three sisters, Virgie and Caroline,  born to Otha and Lovie Byrd.  She was one hundred years old and spent her long life enjoying the things that made her happy - like fresh flowers and good chocolate - and loving her family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Leo Stevenson; two daughters Jean (Woody) Shivers and Annette (Clay) Quinn, and one son, Maxey (Elaine) Stevenson. She is survived by two sons, Earl (Lynn) Stevenson and Lamar (Debbie) Stevenson, as well as nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12-2:30 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside service will follow at 3 pm at the Crystal Springs City Cemetery.
