Ron Chandler

Mr. Ronnie Lee "Ron" Chandler, 65, died Friday, April 6, 2012 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 12 at First Baptist Church of Raymond with visitation preceding the service at 9:00 AM.\ \ Mr. Chandler was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Raymond and was a 32 year veteran of the Jackson Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Wanda Chandler of Raymond; sons, Derek Chandler (Cathy) of Southaven and Keith Chandler (Nichole) of Terry; brother, Bob Chandler of Gulfport; grandchildren, Nick and Taylor Chandler of Southaven and Lendon, Marlee, and Ellie Chandler of Terry; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.\ \ The family has requested that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Raymond Youth Ministry, Po Box 728, Raymond, MS 39154; or to the youth ministry at a church of your choice, to help love and nurture children in the same way Mr. Chandler did his.\
