Robert Runnels

Robert "Bobby" C. Runnels, 61, of Mendenhall passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. A memorial service will be held at a later date. \ \ Mr. Runnels was born in Mendenhall, moved to Gulfport in 1975 and came back home in 1999. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Gulfport, MS. \ \ Mr. Runnels is preceded in death by his son, Robert K. Runnels; parents, Roy and Dorothy Runnels; sister, Cathy Runnels; brothers, Jimmy and Gary Runnels; and his favorite niece, Diana Miles. He is survived by his wife, Martha Runnels of Mendenhall; son, Jon (Misty) Marshall of Gulfport; daughters, Angel (Joe) Sudore of Gulfport, Kim (Ken) Kelly of Gulfport, and Robin (Parham) Bridges of Gulfport; brother, Tommy (Gwen) Runnels of Gulfport; sisters, Belinda (Jimmy) Ashmore of Mendenhall and Shelia (Ed) Waldrup of Indianola; grandchildren, Shane, Krystal, Tabitha and Taitum; and several Nieces and Nephews.\ \ In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation.\ \
