Robert Lee Myers, a devoted servant of God, loving father, and pillar of compassion, peacefully transitioned on December 27, 2025. Raised in Jackson, Mississippi, he developed a deep commitment to faith, family, and service. Robert proclaimed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and lived his faith daily through ministry and compassion.
Family was central to Robert’s life. For over 25 years, he served as a foster parent, opening his home to children in need and providing love, stability, and hope. He believed deeply in guidance, unity, and the power of a nurturing home.
Robert was passionate about education and service, attending Belhaven University and later earning a Master of Science degree in Biblical & Theological Studies. He founded Healing Relationship Ministries, S.O.L.E.M.N (School of Leadership, Education, Ministry & Networking), Operation R.E.A.C.H (Relate, Educate, Anchor, Change, and Hope), supported many ministries, served as a Police Officer and Police Chaplain with the Jackson Police Department, and remained committed to uplifting others through mentorship and faith.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Porter Myers and Rosie Lee Pugh (Myers); his brother, Harrold Dewitt Myers; and his children, Robert Lee Myers, Deshune Isaiah Myers, and Jacob Issac Myers.
He is survived by his children, DeMarcus Correll Myers, NaTasha Roshawn Manuel, and Makyla Renea Myers; his ride or die Tasha Roshonda Manuel-Myers; his siblings, Robbie Wayne (Toya) Myers, Fred Farris Myers, Anton Devon Myers, and Rosie Kay Myers; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Robert’s legacy of faith, love, and service will forever be remembered.
