Robert Earl Lewis, 79, of Crystal Springs, MS passed away on July 21, 2026.  Born on December 09, 1946, in Simpson County.  

Robert Earl was known for his love of family and friends, always willing to help anybody who needed it, usually found tinkering on anything with a motor spending time outside when he should've been inside, and telling stories that spanned a lifetime and were bigger than life itself.  He was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a friend.  He never met a stranger that didn't leave as a friend.  He was loved by many and will be missed by all. 

He is preceded in death by his parent, R.V. and Doris Christine Lewis; his beloved wife, Mary Frances Holmes Lewis; his son, Kenneth Earl Lewis; his grandson, Kenneth Dwayne Lewis; and his sister, Barbara An Jones.

Robert is survived by his son, Donald Dwayne Lewis; his daughter, Jennifer Viola Lewis; grandson, William Austin Farmer (Alyssa),; his brothers, Johnny Lewis (Robin), Tommy Lewis (Beaver), Richard Lewis (Mary Fay), Jimmy Dale Lewis, and Randy Lewis (Annette); his sisters, Debbie Strong (Davis Earl), Brenda Fay Lewis, Louise Douglas, and his special cousin and lifetime best friend, Bobby Lewis (Donna).
