Robbie S Watkins

Robbie S. Watkins, affectionately known as "Gayle," was born on August 6, 1954, in Jackson, Mississippi to Albert Smith and Hazel Harmon Smith.  She departed this life on November 28, 2025, in Terry, Mississippi, leaving a legacy of love and devotion to her family that will forever be cherished.

Throughout her life, Gayle was a pillar of strength and warmth for her loved ones. She adored her family, reveling in the joy that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought to her life. The time spent with them was her greatest treasure, and she took immense pride in watching them grow and flourish. 

In addition to her role as a beloved family member, Gayle had a passion for working in her yard, where she found solace and fulfillment in nature’s beauty.

Gayle is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Ridge Watkins; her daughters, Karla Magnes and Jessica Watkins Keith; and her sons, Chris Papisan, and Kevin Watkins (Leslie). She also leaves behind her brothers, Al Smith, Sid Smith, Montie Smith, and Mark Smith. Gayle’s grandchildren, Julie, Garrett, Cole, Rose, and Anna, along with her great-grandchildren, Madison, Riley, and Grayson, will always carry her memory in their hearts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms. Gayle’s legacy is one of boundless love, and she will be profoundly missed by all whose lives she touched.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life service for her friends and loved ones,
