Mr. Ricky Aaron DePoyster

Ricky DePoyster, 31, passed away on December 07, 2019. Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Mr. DePoyster was born in Watertown, New York to Gary Lynn DePoyster and Mona Lynne Copeland on September 27, 1988. He was a resident of Florence for four years having grown up in Pearl. Always on the go, Mr. DePoyster was a hardworker who could do anything he put his hands to. He was employed as a lineman. He had a big heart and adored his wife and children and his dog, Chaisa. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. He was a friend to all and a man of deep faith. He is survived by his father, Gary (Rhonda) DePoyster of Pearl; mother, Mona Stovall of Richland; wife, Lauren DePoyster; sons, Cain DePoyster and Bentley DePoyster of Florence; his in-laws, Will and Kaylyn Luttrell of Byram; sister-in-law, Amanda Deen of Byram; sisters, Ashley Shelby of Richland and Camille DePoyster of Jacksonville, FL; and nieces and nephews, Hunter Glasco, Brayden Soelman, Caydence Allen, Asher DePoyster, and Catalina DePoyster.
