Mr. Randy Patterson

Jodie Randall Patterson, 61, passed away on Thursday, December 09, 2021 at his home in Florence, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at 1:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery in Terry, MS. Born in Jackson, MS on November 09, 1960 and raised in Thomastown, MS, Randy had been a resident of Pearl, MS for 20 years. He was employed as a biomedical technician at UMMC for 11 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and the Mississippi Army National Guard. Randy was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family and family gatherings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vercy Ray Patterson and Josephine Richardson Turner; four brothers; and three sisters. He is survived by his fiancée, Rene Morris of Florence; daughter, Destiny (Nicholas) Derrick of Brandon; grandson, Easton Derrick; sisters, Sara (Bobby) Davis of Florence and Mary Lou Carter of Pearl; and brother, Billy (Willie) Patterson of Pearl.
