Mrs. Patricia Ann Thornton Hollingsworth

Patricia Ann Thornton Hollingsworth, 79, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at home surrounded by family. Visitation will be held Monday, October 15, 2018 from 5-8pm and again on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 1pm until her funeral service at 2pm, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Pat was born July 14, 1939 in Hinds County Mississippi; she grew up in Jackson, graduated Provine High School in 1958, and was a long time member of Daniel Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Clara and Ance Thornton and brother Jesse Thornton. Pat is survived by her husband of almost 54 years, Paul Hollingsworth, and children Butch (Vanessa) Hollingsworth, Debbie Morris, Lynn (Mike) Walker, Lisa (Larry) Cannon, Billy (Shelley) Hollingsworth, 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, brothers Bob (Sue) and Percy (Margie) Thornton. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Daniel Memorial Baptist Church.
