Pamela Ann Grantham, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, in Florence, Mississippi. She was born on March 25, 1954, in Jackson, Mississippi, and throughout her 72 years, she touched countless lives with her compassion, warmth, and unwavering love for her family.
From her earliest days in Brandon to her life in Florence, Pamela was known for her caring nature and deep sense of devotion to those around her. She was the cherished daughter of the late T. O. Biddle and Carolyn Rone Biddle, whom she held close to her heart and honored every day through her acts of kindness and the life she led.
Pamela pursued her passion for helping others through her education, earning an associate’s degree in nursing, a calling that would define much of her adult life. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly as a registered nurse, serving patients with gentle strength and empathy for thirty years. Her legacy in the healthcare community is profound, and she will be remembered by colleagues and patients alike as someone who truly loved caring for people.
Her loving spirit was also evident at home. Pamela married her soulmate, Roger Dale Grantham, on March 16, 1974. Their marriage stood as a testament to enduring love, filled with laughter, shared dreams, and unwavering partnership. Together, they raised two sons, Kris Grantham and Brian Grantham, who were the pride and joy of her life. There was no role she cherished more than being a mother, and she celebrated every milestone and moment with her boys. As her family grew, so did her heart, embracing her grandchildren—April Hancock, Rhett Holcomb, Aiden Grantham, Reece Holcomb, Addison Grantham, and Easton Grantham—with open arms, and delighting in the arrival of her great-grandchild, Breckyn Hancock.
Pamela was the heartbeat of her family, celebrating their victories, comforting their sorrows, and cheering them on from the sidelines. She found endless joy watching MSU basketball and, in later years, became an enthusiastic supporter of soccer because of her children and grandchildren. She had a zest for life’s simple pleasures, whether dining out with loved ones, tuning in to wrestling matches, or listening to the music of Kid Rock. Her dog Candy was a faithful companion and source of comfort, and Pamela’s love for animals was yet another expression of the depth of her caring soul.
A woman of faith, she was a devoted member of Brandon First Methodist Church, where she built lasting friendships and found spiritual comfort. Her faith guided her actions and outlook on life, fostering a sense of hope and compassion that she extended to everyone in her circle.
As we remember Pamela, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life of caregiving, joy, and generosity. She leaves behind her husband, Roger; her sons, Kris (Stephanie) and Brian (Kim); her grandchildren, April (Justin), Rhett, Aiden, Reece, Addison, and Easton; and her great-grandchild, Breckyn. Though she mourned the loss of her parents, T. O. and Carolyn Biddle, her memory, love, and teachings live on through every member of her family.
Friends and loved ones are invited to honor Pamela’s life at a visitation on July 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., both at Chancellor Funeral Home Florence, 2576 US 49, Florence, MS 39073.
Pamela Ann Grantham’s kindness, laughter, and boundless love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves us with memories we will cherish forever, and an example of a life devoted fully and selflessly to family and to the care of others.
