Rev. Owen Wayne Dickerson, 63, born January 30, 1952 passed from this life to his heavenly reward on January 19, 2016, after a long illness. He was a faithful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and a great servant of the Lord. He leaves behind a wife of 46 years Mary (Horne) of Jackson; 3 daughters Durrell & (Todd) Jenkins, Tammy & (Greg) Littlefield and Elizabeth & (Paul) Penick; 7 grandchildren, Garett Jenkins, Jonathan Jenkins, Michael Littlefield, Matthew Littlefield, Hannah Penick, Thomas Penick and Emma Penick; one brother Shelby (Karin) Dickerson of Houston, TX; one sister Elaine (Bill) Haynie of New Albany, MS; 12 nieces and nephews; 20 great nieces & nephews and a host of family and friends who will miss him greatly. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, January 22, 2016 and 12noon until the 1:00pm Funeral Service Saturday, January 23, 2016, all at First Pentecostal Church of Jackson. Interment will follow at Bolton Cemetery.
