Monique Joell Lambert

Monique Joell Lambert, 48 years young. Born on December 19, 1977, at Lakeside Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana. Born to the parents of Pam and Jim Lambert, Siblings Tiffany Ramsay and Lance Lambert.

Monique was treasured by her husband, best friend, her everything, James Jones. There are no words to fully describe the love that Monique had for her husband. Growing up I would tear up seeing the amount of love that they have for each other. I would always tell them, "I want a love like y’all’s". They really brought out the best in each other. There was never a dull moment with these two beautiful souls.

Monique was the proud mother of Nathaniel Diliberto and Savannah Jones. The amount of love that Monique had for her kids was unmatched. Motherhood meant the world to her; she dedicated her entire life to her children. They are her pride and joy in life. When it came to her children, she was their protector, their counselor, and their guide. She taught them respect and showed them loyalty. She was the shoulder they cried on, the place they received wisdom. She was the momma bear you never wanted to cross. Most of all, she was always there for them. Through the good and the bad, she never let them down or turned her back. Always encouraging them to do their best, to live, and to love. To add to her loving family Nathaniel married Maggie Woltz and blessed Mo with the grandson she always wanted. Grayson Jones, and soon to be another grandson that sadly she won't be able to meet on earth but of course has met in heaven.

Monique Lambert, referred to as “Mo” to her family and friends. She was one of a kind. She felt her way through life. Her love was profound and unconditional. She was beautiful inside and out. Anyone who has ever crossed paths with Mo was touched by her. She would give anyone the shirt off of her back. She was kind, caring, and most of all she loved, her love was so deep. Mo loved herself some arts and crafts, she was so creative. And boy did she enjoy her gardening. She loved all of her cool and dainty pots, she especially loved her banana trees. She was so proud of how much they would grow every year. She cherished her unique knickknacks, and she absolutely admired butterflies. In hard times she would ask God for a sign that everything was going to be okay in which signified the butterfly. Mo also treasured her rocks and clovers, if she wasn't inside doing arts and crafts, she was outside in her garden looking for rocks and four-leaf clovers. And don't get me started on her furr babies. She adored her animals. Any animals at that. She would stop traffic just to get a turtle out of the road, now if she took it home was definitely a possibility. Her animals love and miss her so much and I know Mo can't wait for them to be in heaven with her.

Monique Lambert passed on July 31, 2026, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson Mississippi. She will truly be missed, she will be remembered, she will always be loved, and she will forever be in our hearts.
