Maxine Purifoy, 94, died Friday, January 11, 2013 at Pinecrest Nursing Home in Hazlehurst, MS. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Crystal Springs City Cemetery. Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram is handling the arrangements.\ \ Mrs. Purifoy, a homemaker, was a member of First Baptist Church Crystal Springs.\ \ She was preceded in death by a grandson, David Garrett.\ \ She is survived by her son, Stanley Purifoy (Sally) of Crystal Springs; daughter, Gloria Garrett of Houston, TX; brother, J. T. Lingle of Crystal Springs; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.\
