Mataline Lofton

Lucy Mataline Lofton, 83, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 10:30am Friday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Raleigh, MS. Interment will follow in church cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Lofton was born March 15, 1926 in Sylvarena, MS to John and Virgie Crumpton Grant and was a homemaker.\ \ She is preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Chandler and brother Marlton Grant. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Curtis Martin Lofton of Byram; sons, Grant Keith (Ruthie) Lofton of Braxton and Jeffery Wade (Susan) Lofton of Brandon; brother, John Dale Grant of Raleigh; grandchildren, Angela Westbrook and Julianne Lofton; great grandchildren, Justin Westbrook and Jeremy Westbrook.\ \ On line guestbook at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
