Mary Stevens
Johnson
July 24, 1998 – March 21, 2026
Mary Elizabeth Stevens Johnson, 27, passed away on Saturday, March 21, due to complications from cystic fibrosis.
Mary was known for her deep love of food, her talent for crocheting, and her passion for collecting coins. She lived her life with a resilience that inspired everyone around her. Born with cystic fibrosis, Mary faced a lifelong battle with unwavering strength, never allowing her illness to define or limit her. She was a fighter from the very beginning, carrying that same determination and courage throughout her life.
Mary earned her degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, a reflection of her dedication and perseverance. Above all, her greatest joy and proudest role was being a mother to her beloved daughter, Everlee. Everlee was the center of Mary’s world, and her love for her was immeasurable.
She is survived by her parents, Frank K. Stevens and Naomi Lee Stevens; her sister, Joanna Stevens; her beloved Granny, Christine Stevens; her husband, Johnathon Johnson; and her cherished daughter, Everlee Benji Johnson. She was also dearly loved by Jerry Johnson, Carla Johnson, and her great-grandmother, Joyce Carr.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Hilda Lee Bryant; her grandfathers, Joe M. Bryant and Frank K. Stevens Sr.
Mary will be remembered for her strength, her passions, and the love she gave so freely. Though her life was far too short, it was filled with courage, meaning, and deep connection.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of Mary and in support of the ongoing fight for a cure.
