Ms. Mary Dungey passed into the arms of Jesus at her home in Raymond, on February 21, 2022. Visitation will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 from 9:00am until the service at 11:00 am at Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church in Byram. She was raised in the Gatesville Community in Simpson County but has lived in the South Jackson and Raymond area for the last 48 years. Ms. Mary loved the Lord, enjoyed traditional hymns and Southern Gospel Music. She enjoyed the adventures with the corvette club, going to the mountains, her miniature poodles, gardening and plants. Her heart was for Missions and for God. She organized Women of Faith Conferences and was proud of that, because if you knew Ms. Mary and her quietness, you knew that it was her obedience to God. She is preceded in death by her parents and previous husband, Ronald Gaddy. She is survived by her husband of 10 years; Merlyn Dungey of Raymond; Daughters, Rachael Michelle “Misty” (Chris) Creekmore of Philadelphia, Wendi (Rodney) Scott of Murfreesboro, TN, Erin (Michael) Mitchell of Brandon, Shontina (Nathan) Sanders of Cartersville, GA; Sons, Adam (Stephanie) Dungey of Clinton and Ben (Mary) Sanders of Texas City, TX; Grandchildren, Zane and Destini Thames, Alyssa and Hunter Creekmore, William, Addison and Aiden Dungey, Ashley and Allison Scott, Keely and Emma Jackson, Kenzie Dungey, Ella Porch, Hollis and Zoe Mitchell, Christin (Ed) Diaz, Mara Sanders, Camden, Selah Grace Sanders and Esther (Eric) Wolgamott.
