Martha Ann Hembree, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at The Myrtles in Columbia, MS. She was born on April 4, 1933, in Festus, Missouri to Leo Bauman and Irene Bauman. In her vibrant 92 years, she made a lasting impact on all who knew her, embodying grace, kindness, and an unwavering spirit.

Martha enjoyed a distinguished career as the Assistant Vice President of Commercial Loans at Trustmark, where she was known for her professionalism and dedication. Beyond her career, she was a passionate cook and cherished the art of meal preparation, often sharing her culinary creations with family and friends. Her love for travel took her to various parts of the country, particularly relishing adventures out West and in the Northeast.

She found great joy in attending church and taking care of those in need, always ready to lend a helping hand to those who were sick. Her compassionate nature endeared her to many, and her legacy of kindness continues to inspire those she touched.

Martha is survived by her son, Mark Hembree, and his wife Carolyn of Purvis, Mississippi; her brother, Glennon Bauman of Crystal City, Missouri; her sister, Sue Boyer of Crystal City, Missouri; and her two beloved grandchildren, Brenan Hembree and Dustin Mitchell. She is preceded in death by her husband.

A graveside service will be held on February 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Terry City Cemetery, located on Cemetery Drive in Terry, Mississippi. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate the life and memory of Martha Ann Hembree. Her generous spirit and radiant smile will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
