Marie Westbrook

Mrs. Vernona Marie Westbrook, 76, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2008 from River Oaks Hospital in Flowood,. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be Friday at the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories.\ \ Mrs. Westbrook leaves a legacy of being a loving mother and grandmother. She retired with Bell South after 35 years and a member of Telephone Pioneers. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She loved music and loved playing the piano. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Florence.\ \ She is survived by her daughter: Lisa Boyd and husband Trey and grandson, Joshua all of Florence; sister, Grace Atwood of NC; numerous nieces and nephews.\
