Maggie Louise Sharp

Maggie Louise Sharp went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, December 5, 2022. She was 86 years old. The family will receive friends for Visitation on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 10:00 a.m.-1:00p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS followed by the funeral service at 1:00p.m. Burial will follow the service in the Garden of Memories.

Mrs. Maggie was born to the late Mr. Pearl Shelby Turner on April 24, 1936, in Hermanville, Mississippi. She was raised by her Aunt Lettie Turner Duffey. She was a member of Richland First United Methodist Church. Maggie retired from MS Employment Security Commission where she served 25 years as an Accountant Auditor Level III. She enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her cats and dogs.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Joe David Sharp; son: Richard Frank Sharp; brothers; Phillip Turner and Shelby Cleveland Turner; sister; Mary Belle Turner.  She is survived by her son, David Sharp of Florence, MS and numerous nieces and nephews.
