Mr. Lynn Cantrell

Lynn Cantrell, 65, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at his home in Terry. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Lynn served in the U.S. Army and while there served a few years as a fire fighter. He and his dad James Cantrell owned a barber shop in Gardendale, AL where he retired and prior to that Lynn had owned his own barber shop in Pelham, AL. He loved racing, his grandchildren, daughter and son. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Sue Hudson Cantrell. Survivors include his son Michael Shawn McCarty of Birmingham, Al; daughter Carrie Sullivan of Alabaster, AL; sister Denia (Rick) Crowson of Terry; grandchildren Kaci & Christian Sullivan; best friend Marsha Williamson of Birmingham, AL.
