Lisa Anguizola Stewart

October 12, 1963 — June 2, 2024

Terry

Lisa Diane Anguizola Stewart (60) passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on June 2, 2024 at her home in Terry, Mississippi.

She was born on October 12, 1963 in Union, Missouri to Carol and JR Owens. Lisa later ended up in Mississippi where she met her first husband, Ernesto Anguizola. They had three kids, Jose, Sara, and Antony.

Lisa obtained her bachelor’s at the University of Southern Mississippi. She had several jobs that eventually led her to a long career as a civilian worker for the Air National Guard with USPFO.

She later met and married her longtime partner, Bryan Stewart. She and Bryan loved to travel to visit different civil war reenactments and downtown festivals, always with a slew of dogs in tow. If you ever saw either one of them you knew they would have their 4 legged babies with them.

Lisa loved spending time with friends and family and keeping up with her grandchildren and all of their accomplishments. She was a very proud MawMaw.

Lisa is preceded in death by her mother, Carol and her son Antony Christopher Anguizola.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Bryan Stewart; her father JR Owens and stepmother Cheryl; her children Jose Anguizola, Sara Anguizola Reno, Eddie Stewart, Kale Pitts and Chance Pitts; her grandchildren, Jaden Anguizola, Alena Vo, Jaxon Anguizola, Jace Anguizola, Justus Anguizola, Dalton Reno, and Gracen Reno; her Brother Dennis Owens, and nephews, Zach and Mitch. And of course we cannot leave off the fur babies, Bonnie Kay, Sophie Renee, Odie, and Greta.

If you ever met Lisa you would never forget her. She left a lasting impression on many peoples’ lives and she will be greatly missed by all.

In typical Lisa fashion, there are no services planned. She was not a fan of pomp and circumstance. A celebration of life will be held with details to be determined.
