Lisa Darlene Allen

Lisa Darlene Allen went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in Jackson, MS. She was 60 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. The memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel.

Lisa was born on December 9, 1963, to Johnny Parnell and Vernice Miller Parnell in Starkville, MS. She attended Lighthouse Baptist Church in Richland, MS. She was married to her husband, and love of her life, Jackie Allen, for 44 years. Lisa loved everyone and was loved by everyone. A friend was considered family. To know Lisa was to love Lisa. She enjoyed being outdoors, tending to her plants, having gatherings, and feeding people. She truly had a giving heart. Lisa loved God. She was a Nana to her grandbabies and great grandbabies and loved them dearly. Lisa will truly be missed by everyone.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, James Alvin Parnell and Johnny Wayne Parnell. She is survived by her husband, Jackie Allen of Florence, MS; sons Steven Dean Allen of Florence, MS, and Jack Allen (Brandy) Nanih Waiya, MS; sisters, Kathy Wells (Paul) of Starkville, MS and Carolyn Edmonds of Sturgis, MS; grandchildren, Hunter Olyn Allen (Lexi), Cole Allen, Chandler Allen, and Steven Lane Allen; great grandchildren, Huntleigh Allen, and Huckston Allen.
