Linda Jones Myers, a cherished and devoted housewife known for her warm spirit and outgoing nature, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, in Clinton, Mississippi. Born on December 18, 1943, to Scott Jones and Agnus Hayes Jones in Parkdale, Arkansas,
Throughout her life, Linda was celebrated for her vibrant personality, embodying a genuine openness that ensured she never met a stranger. She took great joy in cooking, sharing meals and memories alike with family and friends.
A woman of steadfast faith, Linda was solidified in the Baptist faith, a spiritual foundation she held dear throughout her life. She attended Gardner Baptist Church in Hamburg, AR. She spent most of her years in her home state before moving to Raymond eight years prior to her passing.
Linda is preceded in death by her loving parents; her husband, L.D. Myers; her sisters Margie Maxwell of Hamburg, Arkansas, Louise Holliday of Alexandria, Louisiana, and her twin sister Glenda Jones Lambert of Raymond, Mississippi; as well as her brother Jack Jones of Columbus, Ohio. Their memories endure in the hearts of all who knew her.
She leaves behind her brother, J.W. Jones of Union, Mississippi, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a loving extended family who will forever remember her kindness and spirited nature.
Linda Jones Myers’s life was one of connection, love, and faith.
