A data processing specialist for many years, Linda was known not only for her professional skills but also for her vibrant personality and strong moral compass.
Linda's faith was a cornerstone of her life, as she was a member of Lakeshore Methodist Church in Byram, where she found community and purpose. She loved her Sunday School class there. Her unwavering love for the Lord was matched only by her deep affection for her family, particularly her three beloved grandchildren, whom she affectionately referred to as her "3 musketeers." They were the joy of her life, bringing her immeasurable pride and happiness.
Everyone who knew Linda would describe her as outspoken and "tough as nails." She possessed a remarkable strength of character, driven by a strong will and an inner desire to uphold what was right. Those qualities endeared her to many and made her a trusted confidante and guide.
Linda treasured the moments spent with her family, often seeking adventure with her sister at the casino, where she was known as the "master of the one-armed bandit", known to others as the slot machine. Despite her personal pursuits, Linda was fundamentally selfless, always prioritizing the needs of her loved ones above her own. Her family was her world, and she consistently demonstrated that through her actions and dedication. Linda Sue Anderson will be remembered as a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a steadfast friend. Her legacy of love, strength, and commitment to family will undoubtedly endure in the hearts of those she has touched throughout her life.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Gina Sloan (Mark) of Raymond, and her son, Steve Anderson of Windsor, Virginia. She leaves behind three cherished grandchildren: Tommy Sloan (Eli), Tyler Sloan (Erin), and Hannah Bryant (Michael), as well as six great-grandchildren: Jack Sloan, Janie Sloan, Jace Sloan, Bristyn Bryant, Braxton Bryant, and Brody Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Tommy Anderson; her former husband, Bennie Farmer; and her sister, Sheila Strong.
