Leslie Iolaine Quarles

Mrs. Leslie Iolaine Quarles passed away Saturday, May 6th, 2023, at her residence in Florence. She was 84. Mrs. Quarles was born in McCool, MS on October 20, 1938, to the late Isaac and Ada Morgan Cummings. She was a long-time member of Trinity Baptist Church and loved to tend her garden. She is a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Quarles is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marion Cummings; and four sisters, Louise Braswell, Katherine Ducharme, Mammie Ray Bradberry, and Lucille Weir.

Mrs. Quarles is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, David Quarles of Florence; daughters, Stephanie Quarles, Daphanie Hardacre (Tim) and Kristi Algee (Jeff) all of Florence; grandchildren, Christopher David Porter (Sara), Kristin Laster (Tommy), Kayla Butler (Ryan), Kyle Wesley Hardacre (Lucretia), Abigail Scout Hedge (Aaron), Wren Morgan Algee and Coy Hayes Algee; great grandchildren, Korbyn Laster, Waverly Laster, Kyle Hardacre Jr., Davee Kate Hardacre, Pyper Katherine Butler, Rigdon Blaze Butler, Rylan Butler, Riley Rae Porter and Landyn Butler.

The funeral service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 3 PM with Rev. Harold Floyd and Rev. James Brown officiating. Visitation will be at Trinity Baptist Church Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
