Kenneth Ray Grantham

Mr. Kenneth Ray Grantham went to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was 88 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, July 9^th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service all at Mountain Creek Baptist Church in Florence. He will be laid to rest following the service at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery in Florence.

Kent was born July 25, 1933, to the late Hester J. and Katie Aline Grantham in Rankin County, MS and he lived all his life in this area. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1955-1956. A mechanic by trade, he worked in the air conditioning and heating field for King Air. He was a faithful member at Mountain Creek Baptist Church in Florence for many years. He loved to do woodwork and gardening. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his first wife, Frannie Grantham. He is survived by his wife of 9 years and best friend, Margaret Grantham. He has also left a host of adopted family and friends, which include his church family at Mountain Creek.
