June Staten

Mrs. June Lyvonne Staten, 73 died at her home in Florence, June 22, 2008. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 24, 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Terry Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Staten worked for South Central Bell before attending Cosmetology school and opening and operating June's Beauty Shop for many years. She was a member of Southside Assembly of God for 29 years. She will always be remembered for her love and devotion to the Lord, her family and friends.\ \ She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Knoff Staten of Florence; sons: Lannie Andrew (Sandra) Staten of Byram, Darryl Travis (Kathy) Staten of Clinton; brother, G.E. Wright of Covington, LA, sister, Betty Sue Boyles of Brandon; brother-in-law, Donal Sharp also of Brandon; six grandchildren.\
