June 8, 1971 — August 24, 2021

Jonnie Eva Gagneaux passed away at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. She was 50 years old. Visitation will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home on Saturday, August 28 from 9:00-11:00am with a Graveside Service at 11:00 am in the Garden of Memories. Jonnie was born on June 8, 1971 in Jackson to the late Ray and Martha Woodruff. She loved her family and had been married to her husband, Jeffery for 22 years, but they had been together for 24 years. Jonnie would do anything for anyone and was known as a very giving, thoughtful and loving person. She especially loved her 4 dogs: Lucy, Ceaser, Zoey and T-neg. When they went out to eat, they always had to get her animals something as well. Jonnie was also dedicated and would not stop a task until it was finished. She was always the life of the party and very outspoken. She would definitely let you know where you stood with her. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Gagneaux; her sons, Alex Blake Hardy (Taylor) of Brandon, MS and Guy Thomas of Richland, MS; Sister; Michelle Sessums of Philadelphia; Brother; Thomas Woodruff of Richland; and Granddaughter; Scarlett Reagan Hardy. She is preceded in death by her parents; Ray and Martha Woodruff. Online guestbook may be signed at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.
