Mr. John E. McManus

John E. McManus, 91, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at his home in Terry. Visitation will be 1-2pm Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside services will follow at 2:30pm Tuesday at Terry Cemetery. Mr. McManus was born in Crystal Springs, MS to the late Joe & Samantha Jones McManus, Sr. He was an electrician and member of New Haven Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his first wife Ruth McManus; second wife Myrtis McManus; son Tommy McManus; brother Charlie McManus and sister Alice Conlee. Survivors include his daughter Carolyn Mitchell of Terry; son Johnny McManus of Terry; brother Joe McManus, Jr. of Terry; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
