Joey Wayne Glaze

Joey Wayne Glaze passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, in Florence.  He was 71 years old.

Joey loved horses. He enjoyed riding and showing them.  He also barrel raced. His business was in restoring old cars. Joey owned Pearl Floor Covering in Pearl for 40 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim Terrell Glaze and Margie Lee Sweat Glaze.  Joey is survived by his, sons, Tony Glaze and Alan Glaze both of Florence; daughter; Tonya Whaly (Rex) of Wedowee, Alabama; wife; Darlene Glaze; sisters; Joy Harvey of Buford, GA, and Jody Davenport (Jack) of Gainesville, GA; brothers; Terry Glaze of Mendenhall, MS and Jimmy Glaze of Buford, GA; grandchildren; Brock, Lanie, Alec, and Hannah Glaze.
